Cave Canem, Latin for Beware the Dog, was the motto for USAFE’s 496 TFS flying out of Hahn AB in the central Eiffel mountain region of Germany in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

84-0298 is shown in a “jack-of-all-trades” configuration well known t Viper pilots… with a centerline tank and a pair of TER-9’s, the jet can fill an air-to-air line, it can fly a dry Surface Attack Tactics mission, or can have some BDU-33’s loaded up to go the range and drop bombs.
